Summary
Shadow Stalker, Sophia Hess, has been doxxed, publically unmasked. Armsmaster and Miss Militia must investigate to determine who has broken both the law, and the Unwritten Rules.
There current suspect, identified by Hess herself, is Taylor Hebert: a troubled young girl with a history of delinquincy.
In order to close this case quickly, Armsmaster makes a choice. This choice gives them twenty four hours in Master/Stranger interrogation to determine if, and how, Hebert was involved in the unmasking.
A criminal and investigative drama, as the two heroes find just how wide a web they have stumbled into.

“Oh, no, you definitely don’t want to do that,” Kara said, picking up a paper cup and dumping a teabag in it.
The woman next to her looked up, surprise etched onto her pale, drawn face. “Excuse me?” she rasped.
Kara nodded at the coffee pot the woman had picked up and wrinkled her nose. “You’d get better coffee at the 7-Eleven across the street and that’s saying something. I’d stick with tea.”
“Oh. Oh … okay.”
“First time?” Kara asked, glancing sideways at the woman.
She was striking, her medium height made a fraction taller by her heels, the tailored cut of her clothes precise, her makeup perfect and her dark hair long and sleek. In her scrubs and denim jacket, bare-faced and dishevelled, Kara felt positively inadequate. And yet, there was the same hollowed out look to the newcomer's face, a sadness in her green eyes, a weary slump to her shoulders that was recognisable.
“Yes.”
Picking up a glazed donut, Kara took a bite and gave her a strained smile. “I’d say it’s good to have you here but … well, obviously not.”

Cat blinks at Kara, them mimes flying. There’s really no need for the secrecy anymore—not now that the whole world knows who Supergirl is—but somehow it feels like confessing even more to say aloud that she assumed Kara would carry her for a multi-state flight.
Kara just gets out of the car and pops the trunk, reaching for Cat’s luggage. “This’ll fit better in a car.”

Summary
Horrified eyes stare at her, heartbroken, confused, sunken in and wrinkled, words caught in a bobbing throat.
His gaze burns.
He doesn't know.
"Violence?" She whispers tightly, carefully controlled, adjusting her grip, her boot pressing down as the creature below her writhes in silent pain, breathless, trying to buck.
"This is not violence." She breathes out, eyes wide and calm, and presses the barrel to the side of its head, grinding it into the dusty basement floor, her armour pieces and weapons and grenades lightly scraping and clinking along as she bends down.
Tattoos line the man's arms, art turned to filth, a masterpiece drawn on shit covered cloth, and broken fingers try feebly to twist her leg off its throat.
To the side, breaths grow shallow.
She turns, her eyes boring into his.
They both accuse the other, silently, betrayal in hers, horror in his.
He doesn't understand that there is no innocence left in her to lose.
He scrabbles to get up, on shaky legs, pawing at her table.
The basement's chains rattle like snakes around them, in warning.
"This is mercy." She says, simply, coldly, unwavering, and pulls the trigger.

The conflict between Zion and Khepri weakened the barriers, just enough for one wounded girl to slip into another world, far away from the Entities experiments. Remnant is a world of danger, and strife, much as Taylor Hebert is used to. Will she find that it is also a place of redemption, and of light?

The woman shifts her weight, pursing her lips and seeming to think about it. “I’m Lena,” she offers at last, watching Kara’s face.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Lena.” Kara gives her an enormous smile.
“Likewise.” Lena smiles back, then takes a breath. “I hope this isn’t the last time we talk.”
“Me, either.”
Kara watches Lena go, sees her pause at the street, then dart across awkwardly in her heels. “Lena,” she says to herself, trying it out. She goes to take another bite of her hot dog and feels the ketchup drip from her thumb, dropping into her lap.

Summary
Space exploration had always been held back by humanity’s relatively short lifespan. To combat this, the first explorers of the galaxy used what was at the time cutting edge nanotechnology to extend lifespans and semi-sentient AI chips to transfer memories and experiences from one willing host to another to ensure knowledge was passed down from generation to generation.
These first explorers were called nightbloods.
