Summary
Alpha Robby leads the ED with gentle authority and the highest respect for the Omegas in his department. His professional - and nearly pathological - need to make sure that he's someone they can trust and feel safe around has led him to smothering nearly all his Alpha instincts. Enter one Dennis Witaker: a packless Omega who imprints on Robby his first shift as a med student in the Pitt. Young, impressionable, and with daddy issues for days, Witaker tempts Robby beyond the limits of his control. But Robby believes that taking what the sweet Omega offers would destroy everything he is and everything he's worked to build.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker is a beta...at least, that's what he's told everyone. Running from a past he'd like to forget and a future that is too hard to see, Dennis tries to ignore his feelings for his attending. Acting on them would put his reputation at risk, not to mention the carefully balanced life that would only take one stumble for it to all come crashing down. At least he only has one shift with the man before he leaves on a three month sabbatical. He could work twelve hours with him and then he'd be good to go.
If only things were ever so simple for him.
Or: 1 in 10 people have a secondary gender. It is scientifically proven that fated mates have higher chances of reproduction. What happens when alphas and omegas are put into a match system to bolster the secondary population, but Dennis wants nothing more than to avoid it?
