    Peter can easily admit that he’s struggling—at least to himself. He’s juggling two jobs that don’t quite cover his bills and trying to write his PhD dissertation, all the while keeping up his patrols as Spider-Man and grappling with the trauma of Gwen’s death. His only solace is the friends-with-benefits relationship that he has going on with Wade, but given the way Wade has been looking at him lately, he feels he might be in over his head there as well. It’s really not the best time for a serial killer to terrorize New York’s underworld, but when did villains ever work according to Peter’s schedule?

    Summary

    It’s almost impossible to find a good love story these days. Disney thinks they have a monopoly on fairytales, and heterosexuals think they have a monopoly on Disney, so China’s got a pretty solid lock on me and Spidey slinging off into the sunset on the big screen. If I want accurate representation of the pansexual disaster I am, I have to come to this back-alley dumpster of a website that’s older than most of the characters it makes fuck. (Probably half its users, too. Christ. Go skip ropes or something.)

    I’m not even asking for a super intense, NC-17, hardcore portrayal of my love life, just something where we get to kiss or hold hands or something cute like that. I want to share a milkshake with a hot radioactive were-arachnid. I want a fun little romance. That’s all.

     

    Anyway, so I’m railing this guy I met on Grindr, right, and he’s a sweating, slobbering wreck about it.
