Summary
From what Nanami’s parsed together in the time since Gojo showed up at his door, unannounced and uninvited and undeniably in need of assistance, is this; Gojo’s been running on fumes for as long as Nanami’s known him, and then some. Sent from mission to mission with barely a chance to even debrief with the higher-ups before being assigned out again. Somehow between it all, he’s managed to fall ill. And the exhaustion, coupled with the fever, made space for careless mistakes.
Like getting hit by a curse that apparently leaves one in dire need of human contact.

“Anyway,” Zoro continued amid Sanji’s silence, “I’m not going to die.”
Sanji made a scoffing sound. “You can’t just decide that, asshole,” he said, tying off the thread. He trailed his fingertips over the jagged seam, checking for any imperfections. “You can’t cheat death.”
“We’ll see.”
To Sanji, Zoro is an enigma. An infuriating one, but one he is drawn to nonetheless. For as much self-assurance Zoro appears to have, Sanji has about as much self-doubt. If he can just understand what goes on inside that mossy head of his, maybe he can figure a few things out about himself as well.
Discovering that there might be something other than rivalry brewing between them, is something Sanji isn't quite prepared for.

“Hamunaptra?” Usopp echoed, interrupting their staring contest.
Sanji blinked away from Zeff’s steely gaze to find him. “Yes, the City of the Dead. Where the early Pharaohs were said to have hidden all the wealth of Egypt.”
“Right, yes, in a big underground treasure chamber. Everyone knows that story! The entire necropolis was rigged to sink into the sand on the Pharaoh’s command, with just the lightest flick of a switch! And then the whole place would disappear beneath the dunes, taking the treasure with it, never to be seen again!” Usopp grinned, delighted to share his embellished version.
Zeff snorted. “It’s all fairytales and bullshit. That map you found's a damn fake.”
“It’s not a fake,” Sanji muttered under his breath so only Usopp could hear, "and we’re getting to the bottom of this. Whoever you were with when you found it, I want to meet them.”
