After his forced coming out. Shane and the Voyageurs plays against Ottawa and loose. They blame Shane on the groung that he let Ilya win because they are in a relationship. Shane respond with way more anger than in the book. Hayden defends his bestfriend like never before. And Shane feels accepted by the Centaurs after all.

Shane was flying with the rest of the Metros, Hayden sat in the aisle seat next to him. He sighs to himself, I shouldn't have sat in the window seat, Hayden was pestering him with photos of the kids Jackie was sending him over Instagram while pestering Shane about how he could do so much better than Ilya Rozanov when everyone jolted forward. All Shane heard was screaming before his ears turned into static, the plane was falling.

Ilya glances towards the window in the door of Shane’s hospital room, hyper-aware that anyone could walk by, interrupt them at any moment.
He should let go of Shane’s hand and leave. A brief visit from the opposing captain is understandable; an extended stay is less so.
Of course, this is when the door opens and Yuna Hollander steps in.
Or, the hospital scene, if Yuna had been to one to walk in on Ilya visiting Shane, featuring a Shane that is a little more high and prone to spilling secrets.
