After that fateful night in Mississippi, Sammie accidentally carries a piece of Remmick with him to Chicago.
“Shhhh it’s okay.” Remmick whispered, his claws touch the raised scar tissue on Sammie’s face gently. “It’s just me.”
Sammie isn’t sure if the grin Remmick gives him is supposed to be reassuring but if it is it fails by a mile. With the bottom of his inhumane fangs clearly visible it still sends a shudder of disgusted fear through his body.
“No, Go away, I don’t invite you.” Sammie grits out.

Jayce doesn't answer questions for Viktor with him standing right there to be dismissive. He doesn't ignore Viktor's input to choose what he wants to be selfish. He doesn't deny Viktor's requests whenever he feels like it to purposefully control him. He doesn't cover Viktor's mouth during sex to take what he wants.
He does it all because Viktor told him to. Because Viktor said it would make him happy.
And Jayce would do anything to make Viktor happy. Anything.
