If the man standing on the other side of the door wasn’t the most beautiful person he’d ever seen in his entire life, he definitely wouldn’t have.
But he did.
And the most beautiful (gorgeous, stunning, exquisite, annoyed, blond) person he’s ever seen in his entire life doesn’t seem too impressed by it.
“Believe me, sweetheart, if I had fucked you you’d be saying a lot nicer things than ‘thanks’,” the man says, brushing past him with enough confidence to make Damen think he had invited him in and hadn't just been standing there stupidly, dumbstruck.

Sometimes though, sometimes they get lost. They get swallowed by darkness and they never find out who they could have become, if only a few things turned out different. Hogwarts hates that, hates watching them fall.
So, when she watched Draco Malfoy fall, caught between Harry Potter and the fire already reaching for him, she caught him.
Draco Malfoy would get a second chance and maybe, just maybe, Hogwarts can save both of her foolish boys.

They both try to avoid public attention, but for very different reasons. Draco suffers from anxiety disorder and fears rejection, even when he knows he's changed for the better. Harry still has PTSD from the War, but he mostly just wants some privacy, and to live a life being someone more than the Boy Who Lived.
When the two meet again for the time after the trial, things start to change. Draco is beginning to redeem himself and come out of his shell, and Harry is realizing his purpose again without the War to control him. Something that would watch their backs—and their fronts—as people spat on them in the streets and hexed them in the alleyways. Draco gets better at it, does a course on it, and takes enough commissions for charmed jewellery that he eventually opens his own shop.
But Harry doesn’t know any of this. So when he sees Malfoy in a shop of charmed necklaces, he immediately tries his best to uncover Malfoy’s machinations.

Harry Potter did not know what the flower over his heart meant until one night when he was seven years old and his fat and loud cousin asked his mother what the yellow rose on his chest meant. Of course, Harry, being somewhat of their personal gardener, knew that the rose, because of its color, was symbolic of jealousy. He also knew that the purple hyacinth on his heart stood for sorrow. Aunt Petunia had sighed, and told her son the rose stood for love anyway. Harry lied to himself, just as his aunt had lied to his cousin. Harry lies to himself a lot.
