Summary
"You aren't supposed to be here." the woman tells her.
"Is your name on this damn bridge?" Vi bites back, not yet opening her eyes to regain focus.
"I'm sorry but I really need this bridge to be alone and...if you could please leave, I'd appreciate it." the woman says, an accent so thick it might as well have clogged her throat.
That's it.
Vi opens her eyes and turns her head to get a good look at her.
"Listen here you—" the words got caught in her throat at that moment, her initial thought and insult that sat on the tip of her tongue.
Her grip on the railing unconsciously softened, unaware of how the tension had slowly started to slip away.
The woman was so beautiful, Vi almost didn't want to jump.

Summary
she'd never been one for confrontation, which is not a statement most would agree with.
Mira was a problem child - through and through - a nasty bite and a spiteful tongue. sour, bitter, tart and sharp. barbed wire for skin, bruise of a personality and tainted head that doomed a cycle. cowardice, wishful thinking, try try try…
she was too bitter for them.
her girls were perfect - through and through - a soft kiss and a gentle caress. mild, sweet, subtle and gooey. silk for warmth, twinkling laughter and tender assurance that healed the bloodiest wounds. she'd always loved them, still did, always will, never changing. she'd promised to confess, 7 years ago she'd promised to confess, but the cycle was exact.
she'd never been one for confrontation, a statement only she could testify to with each time she watched their hands intertwine. rearing horns at another bull was easy, but to present tenderness to those even moreso…
they were too sweet for her.

Summary
Mira and Rumi loved each other. A lot—their souls literally responded to the sound of the other’s voice. Zoey included, of course, in that strange, beautiful triad they’d built like some messy celestial "accident."
But anyone who’s ever loved deeply knows: love doesn’t always mean peace. In fact, sometimes it means the opposite, the closer the bond, the more volatile the friction
“I crossed the line first!” Mira snapped, stabbing an accusatory finger at the TV, where the game’s result had the audacity to flash TIE.
“No, I did!” Rumi fired back, flinging her controller onto the couch with the flair of a woman wronged. “You’re just mad I had better boosters. You saw my triple mushroom!"
“Or, you just don’t know how to let go of losing!”
“I. Didn’t. Lose!”
There was a beat of silence. Then an explosion of movement. The familiar hiss of steel sliding free, echoed through the living room.
And then they lunged.
OR
Mira and Rumi are two of the most competitive women in the world, if not the most, by Zoey's discretion. So, if a game of Mario Kart can't decide which of them is the best, maybe there are... alternative methods.
