Summary
When half of Gryffindor refuses to believe Harry that Voldemort has returned, Hermione Granger finds herself dissatisfied with maintaining friendships just because they're convenient. It's a lot more interesting to seek out friendships with people that she actually respects.
Fred and George Weasley, to her surprise, top that list. They might not be stellar students, but the brilliance of their products speaks for itself, and their dedication to opening their own business is... well, it's downright admirable. Fred and George themselves, in fact, are quite admirable. Some of their ideas, though, could use some work. A bit of tweaking, a shred more research, a hint of know-it-all acumen.
Hermione might know just the girl to help them.
~*~*~This story asks the question "What if Hermione Granger fell in love with the twins in fifth year? What would canon look like then?" and then follows that thread through to the end of the war, with all the trials and tribulations therein.

Summary
Charlie slammed the heavy door shut behind them, throwing the internal locking charm with a sharp flick of his wrist.
The sudden quiet that followed was deafening and, for a moment, the four of them simply stood there as reality set in.
It was George who broke the silence. “Well. This is either going to be a harrowing survival story that ends in cannibalism, or the beginning of a very strange Christmas tradition.”
Hermione slowly pulled off her gloves and began to unlace her boots, pulse skittering in her veins.
Stuck. Overnight. On a mountainside. With all three of them.
Her brain supplied several inappropriate images and approximately zero useful commentary.
Charlie was already moving with quiet efficiency, stoking the small stove, checking the wards etched into the stone near the door. “We have heat, basic food stores, and plenty of bedding. Not luxury, but no one’s getting eaten tonight.”
Fred removed his hat and shook his head, a wry smile twisting his lips as he looked at Hermione. "And isn't that a damn shame?"
