Summary
Carlos Reyes is a rom-com obsessed hockey player who has never been in love before.
The only guy who has caught his eye has a boyfriend, and he's not one to ruin a relationship.
So when he comes to him during their sophomore year with a plan to make his now ex-boyfriend jealous, it's an offer he can't refuse.
The only problem is that he doesn't want to fake date him. He wants it to be real, but for now, he'll take what he can get.
TK Strand is a shy boy who loves photography and Hallmark movies.
He's generally an agreeable person until his boyfriend breaks up with him on their three-year anniversary.
Wanting to make him feel how he did, he creates a plan with two of his friends - which involves fake dating a hockey player that he's only spoken to a handful of times.

Summary
“Hey, baby,” TK whispers, soft enough that were they a few inches further apart Carlos might not be able to hear him. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to make you cry.”
Carlos’s lips curve into a small responding smile and he shakes his head. “It’s okay.”
He tilts his chin forward, asking for a kiss, that TK gives him readily because he thinks it would hurt like having a limb ripped off if he didn’t. Carlos’s lips are smooth and damp against his, wet with the salt from his tears.
“Wanna go for a walk?” TK asks when they part, and Carlos quickly nods.

“What’s this?” he asks. He’s still smiling, and Carlos almost can’t stop himself from kissing his boyfriend. He does, though, and TK carries on watching him as Carlos smiles back.
“I was cooking,” he says, and I thought of you, I’m always thinking of you. “I had some leftovers, so I brought you some.”
TK lights up at that. His smile gets impossibly brighter, and Carlos falls impossibly deeper, but here, at the firehouse, TK reaches out to fiddle with the strap of his bag. His eyes stay watching Carlos’ like he’s searching for something, and after a moment, he says, “You brought me dinner?”
“I brought you dinner.”

Summary
