Ford watches as his brother fidgets awkwardly, sitting at the kitchen counter, picking a stray thread in the smokey-yellow tablecloth.
"I just….” He looks like he did when they were kids and he’d get caught in a lie; nervous and awkward and vaguely waiting for the other shoe to drop. “We’ve only got a year left of high-school, and… I guess i just realized that I wanted to make more of myself.”Stan tries to fix things, but breaks other things in the process.
