The skinny kid who he’d been paired up with to run the clinics for the 8-to-10-year-olds was loud, and abrasive. The worst part was that the kids seemed to love him, and therefore ignored Derek and his (really quite reasonable) instructions and requests for decorum.
“Call me Stiles, dude!” just tossed him the goalie’s crosse, told him to stand near the goal and started tossing balls in his general direction, coaching the kids through their swings and stifling laughter when Derek proved exactly why he played offense and was kept out of the goal at all costs when he’d played with his home team back at school.

werewolfzero - I want fic where secretly Derek loves oreos but he’s made a big deal about healthy eating too many times to ever confess and one day Stiles has left out a package and he stealth grabs a couple and is just finished enjoying them when Stiles comes back and he must look shifty because Stiles asks if he had any and Derek denies it but when he opens his mouth his teeth are all black and Stiles rolls his eyes and is all you’ve got a little something on your teeth and Derek’s ears just go pink so Stiles comes over and kisses them.

okie but can we add that both the sheriff and derek do this so stiles comes home and theyre just nonchalantly in the kitchen after having like a ten minute convo of how much trouble they’ll be in if stiles finds out and then they risk it

But the wolfish part of him is looking at that boy, pale and too-thin, wearing that ridiculous red sweatshirt that, for one thing, wasn't nearly protection enough in this weather, and for another, might as well be a flashing, neon sign that says chase me, and all it appears to see is want.
Or: Stiles's post-graduation road trip goes terribly wrong, and Derek has to save the idiot human from freezing to death.

Summary
Europe in the 14th century was bloody awful: plagues, famine, century-long wars...no wonder many humans mistakenly thought the apocalypse was already upon them. The only positive, as far as Crowley was concerned, was that Aziraphale was starting to seem comfortable with their Arrangement, even if that was rather torturous in its own way. Unfortunately, their first true, if initially accidental, collaboration goes down like a lead balloon.
Guest appearances by Petrarch, John Ball, Watt Tyler, Richard II, and some Cambridge students attempting to do the Faust thing. Can be treated as a prequel to "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition"
*TW: References to most of the expected medieval unpleasantness, including antisemitism, messy execution techniques, the black death, etc.

Derek was exhausted. He was covered in baby tears, baby snot, baby spit-up, and his kids were still crying. Still. They had been driving for nearing nine hours now, with only short stops to feed and change the baby and to let Caleb pee at gas stations. If he had thought he had time to stop longer and let the kids have a break, he would have. As much for himself as for them. Nine hours of driving and they were finally getting close. Safety was across the line some thirty miles ahead.
They were almost to Beacon Hills.
He hoped to find a safe place with the new Pack that had taken over his uncle's old territory. New York wasn't home anymore. It might not even be safe anymore, even though Jennifer was dead. She couldn't hurt his kids ever again.
