Summary
A remake of another work (which was started before comic 7, so it isn't completely lore compliant.)
The Fossil Fuel Crisis hit humanity like a truck. Oil and gas was suddenly scarce. Countries collapsed, and civil wars broke out.
Jeremy Willis isn't doing so hot in this crisis, despite once being a mercenary. He was killed over a can of beans.
Society after that wiped themselves out. Brought a decent amount of the animal kingdom with them, too.

Some thousands of years later, creatures resembling inanimate objects began to emerge. They quickly advanced, and built their own civilization off the ruins humans left.
32 millenia pass after the human extinction event. A young wooden cube by the name Gray was doing what he's best at: being a reckless fool.
Suddenly, he lost his footing and hit his head too hard while falling from a tree! He concussed himself!
Instead of forgetting, he remembered.

Summary
In a remote village in Goiky, the townsfolk of Hikksville viewed Tennis Ball as a complete nutjob at times.
On a good day, he would act somewhat normal, but spend too long with him, and he'll blabber on about his current interest for at 3 hours! (If you're lucky, that is.) Naturally, not a lot of people get too close with the guy.
He does seem to have become more unhinged a few days ago. Has he finally lost his marbles? He keeps talking about some being from the stars touching down on earth on a certain date. Perhaps it was just that he didn't properly clean the lenses on his makeshift observatory.
Well, perhaps he was right. A visitor from the distant cosmos touches down on Goikian soil one night. Whoever she was, she meant business alright.
And while everyone cowers in fear, Tennis Ball seems to have... a peculiar interest in this visitor.

Summary
Constructive criticism very much wanted
RED team arrives to one of their bases on a rainy night. It was a rather small (and cheaply made) ocean platform of steel, but it was really only to house the Mercenaries temporarily, just a single night at a time. The small trawler could only last so long against the great Atlantic.
A loud noise later on in the evening woke everyone up, it came from down below. The engineer walked down to the boiler room to check if it broke.
He didn't come back a few minutes later. Scout is soon sent down. He wished he stayed with everyone else.
