Summary
Stiles is just trying to prevent the next supernatural problem from killing his friends. Derek is just trying to keep his pack alive (and ignore the desperation that crawls under his skin whenever Stiles is near).
When Stiles goes into the preserve to investigate a string of murders, he and Derek are kidnapped by an unknown group and locked in a basement with no escape. Each night brings new suffering, and each day they have only each other.
The two will have to learn how to lean on one another to keep their sanity intact, and they’ll have to work together to escape.
Too bad they annoy the shit out of each other.

“Why does your blood smell so strange?”
The question startled Gale, who looked up from where he sat cross-legged in front of his tent, organizing his scrolls in preparation for their upcoming “visit” to the goblin camp. He’d given Astarion a wide berth since the revelation of his vampiric condition a few days earlier, so he was surprised to see the pale elf looming over him now, a peculiar expression on his face.
“You know,” Gale offered with a smile, “in my extensive journeys across manifold realms, I do believe that is not a question that I’ve ever been asked before. I honestly can’t decide whether or not I should be offended.”

Of the many side effects Gale has faced as a result of his whole “being physical host to an imminently destructive magical orb” problem, he somehow never anticipated his blood now apparently smelling irresistible to vampires (or at least, one particular vampire) to be one of them.

Summary
Stiles' life changed the day he was diagnosed with ADHD. It certainly changed more than his life when his mother was diagnosed with, and subsequently succumbed to, her dementia. And the months after that, the months where his father spent most of his time drinking and not much time with his son, well, that was something, too.
While all of those things were definite turning points in Stiles’ life, he doesn’t regret any of them. Sure, he wishes his mom didn’t die, and he’d give anything to be able to actually focus during any of his classes, but he can’ really regret something outside of his control.
But breaking Jackson’s arm during lacrosse practice at the beginning of the season of their senior year? That he regrets.
