Summary

Summary

Bucky Barnes has been readjusting to life after returning from Wakanda. The Winter Soldier programming may have been purged from his mind, but can his transgressions be purged from his soul? His court mandated therapy may be a thorn in his side, but it is walking home from one of these sessions that he meets an unlikely character.
Set in a post-Civil War AU, Bucky returns to the states after spending a few months in Wakanda. None of the Avengers went on the run, having been given the choice to go under house arrest or be confined to the newly minted Avengers compound, serving out missions as seen fit. The Sokovia Accords have been amended, giving the Avengers more freedom to protect the planet-- and universe-- that they call home.
