Summary
This story starts with Wei Ying falling to his death from that cliff at Nevernight. Of course he doesn't die, or does he? When he finds himself at the jingshi where Wangji is kneeling in the snow, waiting for his mama to come back, Wei Ying wonders what he is nowadays; spirit, ghost, or human?
Also note, I'm European, and although I tried researching the art of calling a person by its correct name, be it birth name, courtesy name or title escapes me. So feel free to skip this story and find a (probably Chinese) writer who does understand all these customs!
