Summary
Thinking about it, he hadn’t played in quite some time. Maybe a week or two but nothing longer than that.
Wild had been playing since he was young, according to Zelda he would play for the soldiers to soothe them to sleep and occasionally teach the young princess some cords, but she could never pick it up as easily as he could. She still had a graceful voice, but instruments were never her thing.
Still, he would bring out his guitar and play for the chain. Wind was ecstatic when Wild first brought out his guitar, requesting song after song. Wind still requested his fair share of songs, but had eventually just let Wild play while he listened. Sadly, he couldn’t play too often. Between traveling, fighting, and preparing meals, Wild had never found the time.

“What.”
Tony was on the Avengers. Tony couldn’t keep his mouth shut. Oh God, Peter’s identity.
Something like unmistakable dread must’ve come up on Peter’s face because Serenity gave him a pitying look.
“Oh, don’t worry, you’ll do great. I mean, you’ve been working here for a few weeks now, you’re practically a pro,” she reassured, patting him on the shoulder before walking past him and shouting over her shoulder. “It’ll be hard to fuck up!”

Steve had asked Nat once, shortly after they moved back in, why she thought Tony hadn’t brought Siberia up yet.
“He doesn’t need us like he used to, Steve,” she said simply, shrugging and returning to her training. She hadn’t elaborated, and Steve hadn’t understood.
It wasn’t until a few weeks had passed that Steve got his first clue as to what had changed.
Steve had just lifted a hand to rub at his temple, hoping to ease the tension that lingered there when the elevator doors slid open, surprising Sam mid-complaint, and a teenage boy came spilling out. He was lanky and long-limbed with curly brown hair and was currently thanking Friday for the lift. The boy’s steps seemed to stutter for a moment as he looked up and saw the heroes on their sofa, but his face didn’t change. As quickly as he faltered he recovered, continuing past them in his worn shoes and baggy sweatshirt, heading down the hall towards their rooms.
“Um.. You guys see him too, right? I’m not hallucinating?” Sam asked.

Peter Parker has always believed he can handle everything on his own. Balancing homework, patrols, and helping civilians in danger is part of being Spider-Man. However, after a serious accident leaves him injured and disoriented, he begins to struggle with pain, fatigue, and an overwhelming desire to help others. He knows he should take some time to rest, but he worries about what might happen if the Avengers need his assistance (even though they don’t).

“You’re not intruding at all.” MJ unlocks her door and steps inside, gesturing with her head for him to follow. “Besides, I’m just repaying you for the flowers.”
“You don’t have to,” Peter insists. “I was just being nice.”
“Then I’m being nice too. Come on. I have too much food and only myself for company.”
She holds up the plastic bag in her hand, where Peter can see two boxes of takeout inside.
“Okay,” Peter agrees, his hunger winning against his common sense. “Thank you for having me.”
Peter has done a good job avoiding Ned and MJ for the past four years. Until they both moved in across the hall and began inviting him for meals and giving him leftovers (suspiciously looking freshly cooked). He really shouldn’t get involved in their lives anymore, but Peter Parker is broke, hungry, and can’t resist the temptation of delicious food and the chance to talk to his friends again.
Or: Healing and loving through awkward leftovers, impromptu lunch hangouts, and maybe admitting Peter’s not quite satisfied with his life as he thought he was.
