Summary
The possibility of Izuku dying is getting more and more real day by day and it is scaring the shit out of Katsuki.
He’s always used the excuse that he'd tell Izuku about his feelings when he figures them out. Then, he figured them out but Izuku was taking a turn for the worse so he’d said that he’d just wait until Izuku got better. Now, he’s not sure Izuku will ever get better and he doesn’t think he can handle Izuku dying without knowing this shit.
He also doesn’t want to make things worse for Izuku and stress him out, in case he doesn’t feel the same, but everything in him tells him that Izuku feels for Katsuki just like Katsuki feels for Izuku and he is hoping that that gut feeling is enough because he blurts it out.
“I love you,” Katsuki mentally curses because that’s nothing new, they’ve said they love each other since they were children, so he clarifies, “Well, obviously I fucking love you but I mean that I am in love with you.”

OR, Izuku is on the verge of death, he and Katsuki are in love and adorable, but it gets a little sad
