“Okay, Theo I need to clean it. This is going to hurt a little. Is it okay if I touch you?” Melissa asks, waiting for a response. Theos eyes snap up at her and he makes a big show of rolling them. “It’s fine.” He says dismissively and goes back to looking at the roof fairly indifferent despite bleeding out on her couch.
Most people wouldn’t think twice about it, would take what the boy says at face value. But she knows Theo is very good at lying and Melissa has been a nurse for a long time. She knows when someone has a problem with touch, and Theo Raeken has an overflowing bucket of past medical trauma he refuses to acknowledge. But, he’s given her his permission and he’d probably rather sink back into the floor then address it with her right now.-/-/-/
Theo is forced into the pack against his will when Melissa finds out he's ticklish. Melissa and Chris become Theos self appointed guardians of the wayward teen.

“Ryu? What’s the matter?” Sanji puts the apple slices down. “Is there something wrong?”
“Um…Sanji, um,” Ryu’s voice is small, meek and hesitant in a way Sanji hasn’t heard in a long, long time. “I have, um, I have…for you. Um. I want, um, I…”
Sanji crouches down to get closer to Ryu’s eye-level. “Hey, it’s okay. You know you can tell me anything, right?”
Ryu nods his head and shuffles his feet, toeing at a small crease in the tiles of Sanji’s kitchen floor. “…I know.”
“Then, what’s up? What do you—”
“HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!” Ryu blurts out. He shoves something at Sanji, a paper of some sort, and squeezes his eyes shut, his chin pressed tightly against his chest as if he’s bracing for impact.
Sanji blinks. Blinks again. He takes the paper from Ryu’s trembling hands and looks down at it.
There, held loosely between his fingers, is a Mother’s Day card.

Summary
Nami knew what she was doing was selfish. She should have go back to Arlong Park weeks ago. Instead, Nami stayed with Luffy and Zoro for a day longer every day, unable to bring herself to leave them just yet. And no matter how hard she tried to convince herself that she was only staying with them to use them, Nami knew the truth.
She had finally found people she wanted to stay with and she couldn't.
OR
Nami is celebrating her birthday with two idiots in the middle of the ocean. It's the best birthday of her life.
