Summary
A Subnautica AU of Welcome Home
Y/N has just crash landed onto an alien planet and has just barely managed to survive after escaping their ship. Thankfully, they landed in the safe shallows, where a friendly face greets them. Can Y/N trust this charming fish, or will they continue to refuse to leave their pod until it's too late.
This story will follow the rough storyline of Subnautica, the main plot still following the virus and the planet being on Lockdown. However, there will the unique characters added. Some of the events that take place in the original game will not take place in this AU, however other plots will replace them, as you will see :)

Wally paused as he felt his neighbour shift in their seat, curious about their reaction he brushed his thumb against their bottom lip, pulling on the soft skin until they sighed and opened their eyes to stare at him.
Wally froze.
He loved eye contact. Not once had he shied away from it, but in that moment a strange feeling began to bloom in Wally's chest. One he wasn't used to, having never felt it before. He felt warm and fuzzy, his pupils dilating as he held their eye contact, something that used to scare his beloved but now they knew it was Wally's way of expressing just how enamoured he was with them.

Wally's fingers slide down to trace the exposed skin of his lovers side where their top had slid up, his felt covered fingers tickled them softly until his efforts earned him a laugh and a jolt of their body under his, almost throwing him off before he caught himself and smiled at their reaction, adjusting his hands and his perch on their belly.

Tom manages to get them to open up about her past and despite being cautious, accepts her.
The two of them grow close. After a while of living together, Tord comes back and chaos ensues.
Managing to catch Tord alone, (Y/n) has a chat with him and convinces him to be nicer to Tom.
Happy ending.I changed their last names to dissociate the characters from Eddsworld from the real-life people due to their wishes, please respect my choice and theirs.
