Summary
Jiang Cheng and Lan Zhan have been betrothed from birth. They meet for the first time when the twin jades come to visit lotus pier. The two children are left together to play while the adults engages in conversation. Evertyhings seemed to be fine until Lan Zhan accidently fell in the water and lose his headband. Jiang Cheng manages to pick both out of the water but it leads to Lan Zhan crying thinking he wont be allowed to go home and will have to marry Jiang Cheng right away now that he touched his headband. Upon hearing that Jiang Cheng starts crying too because he's sure he'll be sent off to gusu without his Jiejie and parents.
