Eddie roves his eyes over Buck's form. The paleness of his skin, the starkness of his veins under. The way Buck's clothes are starting to hang a little loose on him, the way he never changes where anyone can see him anymore.
Buck just sighs and looks away, breathing measured. It makes Eddie all the more certain that he’s doing the right thing; if Buck really was okay, he would have had the energy to fight back.
It breaks something in Eddie. Almost as quickly as it rose, his anger burns away, leaving behind only pain and fear. He can't lose Buck. He can't.
Buck would do anything to protect Eddie. Even if it means keeping the truth hidden — right to an early grave.

Buck’s car is stolen, leading to a high-speed police chase involving Athena and the 118, who mistakenly believe Buck is the one in the car. when it inevitably crashes, they presume the worst as Maddie listens over the coms unit. Eddie who has realised he is in love with his best friend deals with the reality that he might be dead.
meanwhile buck is just trying to find a phone to use and make it to the dispatch centre in time to ask Maddie if he can borrow her car to pick up Chris.
But Buck is Buck and finds trouble and set backs along the way.Also we hate Jensen :))

For a moment, there is a weird tension in the room. It makes the blood rush through Bobby’s veins, adrenaline pushing into his bloodstream, fight or flight activated, just from Eddie knocking on his door at 2pm on a random Tuesday.
Then Eddie finally speaks. “I’m in love with Buck.”
Time stands still. Bobby swears the ticking of his clock actually ceases to exist. The air around him stops flowing, does not want to enter his body, nor leave his lungs again. The world stops entirely in its rotation. And Bobby thinks he might need to get his ears checked. “Okay?”
