People have always sought to peer beyond that boundary, to find out what it means in their life journey. To avoid it by any means at their disposal. And now, one person will have to face death head-on, see something that no one else will ever know about, and run away. But even so, will there be a place for her in this new life and world, so different from the one she knew before? How much pain will she have to endure, how much hope will she have to find and lose?

The task she must complete. She - Lace, has the task of killing the princess - Hornet. She, Lace, is obliged to show her loyalty to the citadel, and to show that she is not a cowardly ant, but a real warrior. She is obliged to do it again. But does she... really want this?

Only by chance, she finds herself in a completely different world for herself. It's not new to her to see other species, but it's new to her to communicate with them, to find a way to approach them, and to unwittingly study them. As they do you. That's an interesting observation.

“So. Normally these are inside of you. But they have some length to them, if they’re able to reach outside of your body entirely like this. Do…? I mean, has any Eridian tried putting them into another like, Eridian, or…?”
Rocky squeaks, a rush of air from his vents in a short burst. Scandalized.
“Put inside!? No no no. Disgust! Grace think like pervert! No no no.”
“It was an innocent question! Humans put their penises in any hole that can fit! Even stuff that isn’t alive, like, food or—”
Another squeal, this time Rocky stands on three legs. His two limbs used currently for his arms wave erratically.
“Perverted! Perverted! Perverted! Grace disgust! All human species disgust!”

Summary
Grace has been on Erid for about six months. Things have quieted down. Grace isn’t as sick anymore. He’s eating normally, mostly healed, and not actively dying. Rocky doesn’t need to spend every waking moment with him. Rocky can actually resume living a normal life. Grace doesn’t need Rocky, anymore.
Grace has severely underestimated how much he needs Rocky.
Or: What happens when a very codependent Grace tries to separate himself from his best friend, Rocky? Who, by chance, also happens to be very codependent?
Oh, right. And he’s in love with Rocky.
