After a fight, a robbery, a series of loving gestures, a subtle confession, a few touches, and a kiss lead to a burst of passion and more than one realization, Bowen does the stupidest thing possible... He runs away from Draco.

“Dear Lord, time flies.”
“Oh yes.” The knight nodded in sincere agreement. Years, months, days, passing in an endless loop, one after the other, mending memories into a mush of the past. He’s seen it all and then some. Time giving and stealing, ruthless. “And it seems that it has taken everything good in this world with it.”
“No,” protested Draco and they both turned to each other, eyes locking, exchanging emotion and knowledge despite being mute. Bowen’s lips parted when he felt the dragon touch his arm. He looked at where it rested on the ground and saw the dragon’s hand brush the side of his palm with great tenderness. “Not everything.”

Summary
When a con goes severely south, Bowen and Draco are forced to hide in an eerie, slimy swamp - what's worse, a monster is allegedly occupying its waters! The two make camp and although Draco's alarm senses go off, Bowen stubbornly insists that the dragon's foreboding is uncalled for. Once Draco leaves to hunt them something for dinner, the knight falls asleep. Little does he know that his ignorance is bound to have (not only) unpleasant consequences...
In other words; a job fails, Bowen's ego gets bruised, Draco once again saves the day, love comes to light, wounds get treated, and, after all that, raunchy interspecies grinding ensues in the cave behind the waterfall.

Summary
In search of temporary relief from the unquenchable desire left within him from just about any interaction with Draco, Bowen had gotten into all sorts of danger and trouble. That, however, didn't stop him from trying to find yet another - and rather poor - substitute. Before Bowen can make a move and get himself into another scrape, he finds himself pinned to a wall by no one other than Draco. One thing leads to another and after a bold kiss, the two end up diving into the sheets with a tad too much passion and roughness. Much to Bowen's pleasure, he ends up pinned (yet again) and wrecked thoroughly.
