    “Dead tired. I had a nightmare and I couldn’t go back to sleep,” he’d blurted out. Only problem was, never in a million years would he have said that willingly. He’d widened his eyes in realization turning to look back at the group of misfits he - begrudgingly - called friends.

    “Fucking Veritaserum?” he’d said, pronouncing every syllable slowly.

    “Hey!” Bakugou flicks his forehead, “Are you even listening?”

    “You have pretty eyes.” Shouto blurts out.

    They just stare at each other for a moment, Bakugou’s eyes widening as he shifts back. Shouto can feel his legs tense up on top of him.

    “What the hell are you saying?!”

    “You have pretty eyes,” Shouto repeats, “And eyelashes too. They’re very long.”

    Okay, the second part came out of nowhere, but he can’t take it back now. Bakugou’s face freezes up, and his aforementioned eyes blink aggressively. His face flushes, a shade too pink to be blamed on the exercise as he leaps off Shouto’s body.
