“Who in the hell did you get in a fight with, Deku?” Katsuki demanded again. Izuku groaned loudly, ripping up a handful of grass and sprinkling it all over his face. The expanse of stars flickered in and out of view, reminding Katsuki of much simpler clear nights – clear nights when he still had this idiot beside him, but lucid and covered in bruises from bike crashes and tripping over roots, not fistfights with strangers.
“Does it even matter who?” Izuku finally muttered. “It was just someone.”
Katsuki looked over at his best friend, curled up on the ground with bits of blood coating his lips and blades of grass sprinkled all over his messed-up face. “I guess it doesn’t matter,” he admitted, “but I’d prefer you fucking invite me next time.”

Summary
Izuku and Katsuki are mermen in the same pod. They're best friends—partners in crime—and they do everything together. They even take up jobs guarding the pod's territory together.
When Katsuki presents as an alpha, nothing changes. Izuku expects that nothing will change when he presents, either. But then, he presents as an omega. At first, he doesn't mind. Why would anything change? Besides, maybe now that he's an omega, Katsuki would consider courting him.
But instead, Katsuki all but vanishes.

Todoroki face darkens. What is this? A restraining order? A charge against him for forcing himself onto the omega? Whatever it was out of the two he deserved it. He kicked him out and abandoned him after forcing himself onto him. If the situations were reversed Todoroki would have wanted justice.
"Well do you remember when we-um, when my heat came and we went into your room and well... do you remember using protection?"
Todoroki blinks, his face going still. Midoriya chuckles awkwardly as he scratches his cheek.
"Don't think too hard trying to remember because we didn't- and well... I was in heat, and you're an alpha, and what I'm trying to say that I can't seem to say is that... I'm pregnant.. with your pup... yeah."
There. He said it. He finally said it. Now Todoroki and him can talk and discuss what's going to happen next-

Summary
It is mating season, a time where omegas gather up the courage to ask alphas to be their partners during their heats. Typically, an omega would give the alpha they're interested in a handwritten letter. It is not the other way around, which is why when Izuku finds a letter in his locker during this season he knows for absolute sure that it is a mistake.

“You’re Shouto Todoroki.” Izuku says stupidly.
Shouto nods his head slowly at him, “I am and you’re Izuku Midoriya.”
Shouto Todoroki…knows his name. Shouto Todoroki…THE SHOUTO TODOROKI KNOWS HIS MOTHERFUCKING NAME! Izuku feels like he can die and ascend to heaven right now. He can see the bright light and angels singing him over towards the promised lands. He could totally go to heaven without a single regret since the alpha of his dreams knows his name.
“Mind telling me what you were doing here with someone else when I already laid claim on you?” Shouto asks, his tone less than amusing.
