“Do you think you can fly right now?” Beidou asked, and the seriousness he had heard in her voice before was back again.
The question made the situation click into place for Scaramouche. His gut feeling was right.
“We couldn’t find Kazuha anywhere.” Beidou said, confirming Scaramouche’s suspicions. “He’s not on the Alcor.”
“They have him.” Scaramouche said, a statement of fact, not a question.

The groan of pain Kazuha made then was different from the other, body arching, almost bending to press up against Scaramouche’s hand.
Scaramouche blinked. He’d only heard Kazuha make sounds similar to that once.
With a rush of morbid curiosity, he lessened the pressure for a moment before increasing it again. This time Kazuha gasped slightly, body arching even more.

Slowly, an uncanny entity creeps its way out of Kazuha's eyes.
