Ominis couldn't see her, but he would have bet good galleons that she was blushing, thinking to himself that she was just lovely.
But then again, that was a constant, fixed thought in Ominis' mind.
His feelings for her were so strong that they bordered on worship and, at times, he was greatly frightened by the intensity of his love for her—that consuming awareness that he belonged to her body and soul, the knowledge that he simultaneously had everything life could offer and potentially everything to lose.
Sebastian took a few steps towards them, only to stop a moment later. His heart skipped a little—that dull, constant ache he had grown accustomed to and which he felt every time he laid his gaze on the happy couple.
He had loved her. He still loved her. He loved her at all times. Deeper every day, if possible.
Giving her up had been the hardest thing he had ever done in his life. After school ends, Ominis, loathed by his family, is given the dilapidated Manor Cape mansion by his parents, keeping him as far away from the rest of the Gaunt family as possible. He finds a similar comfort within Jane, offering for her to live with him at Manor Cape once school ends. Three years have passed since the end of school and a life of almost comfort has befitted them both. But is this a relationship of solace or something more? And how will the return of one, now ex-convict, Sebastian Sallow affect the life they have created for each other.
