The boy, Jesper, was coming towards him, his limbs stretching out easily as he walked. He felt the boy's eyes on the top of his head as he approached."A package and a pretty boy; must be my lucky night."

A show accurate meeting of Wylan and Jesper because I love this new idea of them meeting almost as much as the original version of them.

Summary
Wylan was stood on the balcony, arms folded, watching the dusk slowly sinking on the harbour. Above him, tiny white stars were beginning to peek out from the dark- unusually clear in the sky for Ketterdam- and Wylan watched them twinkle, though he could feel the cold beginnings of the evening on his cheeks and nose.
He was alone. For the first time, it felt, since he had gained ownership of his father's house, and the weight of it all was finally catching up to him.

"I know you," Katniss said, and Tigris had the sudden strange feeling she could see right through her, as though the girl had delved into her past and dragged up all the worst parts to put them on display. "You were a stylist in the games."
It was just a statement, a flicker of recognition, but as Tigris pulled back the heavy velvet hood she'd hidden beneath, she felt she owed it to the young girl to meet her eye as she chose her next few words.
"Until Snow decided I wasn't pretty enough anymore."
The Coriolanus Snow she had once known was gone. Dead and buried somewhere in District Twelve; amongst the mockingjays' songs.
"I'm here to kill him."

So when Eddie Munson stumbled into his life, introducing him to the idea that you don't have to want to fit in, Mike thought finally, finally this was something that Steve couldn't worm his way into.

Steve Harrington is secretly a nerd. He's also, in Eddie's opinion, a massive dick. (Or: five times nobody but Eddie believes that Steve is a giant nerd, and one time he tells everyone else.)
“Oh, you’re kidding, I love that book,” says Steve Harrington.
Eddie wonders, for about half a second, if he’s somehow fallen into a different dimension. He stares down at the battered copy of 'The Silmarillion' just in case he’s accidentally been reading like… whatever jocks read, a basketball like — handbook, or whatever. He isn’t. It’s still 'The Silmarillion'. Eddie looks up at Steve Harrington, who is standing at the bottom of the stairs Eddie is sitting on, sunlight in his hair, sneakers shifting awkwardly on the tarmac of the school yard. “Uh-huh,” Eddie says, sort of dumbly.

Summary
In which Eddie is stuck in suburbia with a Steve who mows the garden shirtless and insists on wearing short shorts.
Steve has little red marks on the backs of his heels from old blisters, or something, and above that on the soft flesh of his hairy shin a little black mole. It’s frightening, to know these things about Steve, Eddie doesn’t know what to do with it. He feels like he should tell someone, the gossip rag down at Hawkins High (who are still inexplicably — or perhaps justifiably — interested in Steve Harrington). Steve’s curled up in a chair now, reading glasses on his nose and little frown on his face, reading their bills or taxes or something (Eddie and Robin have been banned by him from getting involved in all of that), heels and moles on display for the whole world to see.
People shouldn’t be allowed to see Steve like this. Someone needs to tell the press. It’s a national concern. His hair is being all… Eddie slams his mug down on the counter and scurries out, slamming the door after himself. Awful.

Summary
In Miami, on vacation with his parents, Steve meets Eddie. So what if he doesn't get a last name or a phone number, it was a summer fling and they had a great month together. He doesn't realise it was Eddie fucking Munson until the guy has a broken bottle to his neck and they're about to go face interdimensional aliens together. Steve doesn't know when his life became a very fucked up and non-musical version of Grease.
Robin’s lips twitch. “And it was just a summer fling?”
He narrows his eyes at her. “What?”
“You’re such a hopeless romantic, Steve. Sometimes I don’t know what to do with you.” He must look as confused as he feels because she laughs and says, “Dude, you like sighed his name, you’re so done for.”
“Shut up. It’s not like I’m ever going to see him again, is it? I’m never even going to hear his name again. It was a summer fling and that’s all.”

Summary
Spider-Man keeps knocking on Eddie's window, is the thing. Eddie's not sure what the guy's looking for, be it the company, or a warm place to stay for a couple hours, but begrudgingly, he finds himself leaving the window unlocked before going to bed.
Or, the one where Eddie's a little bit in love with Steve Harrington, and starts bitching about it with the kind, if a bit cagey, vigilante, Spider-Man.
