Wednesday y Elena Addams están celebrando su aniversario de bodas con un viaje a través de la selva colombiana cuando se topan sin querer con un pueblo de lo más peculiar. Prácticamente pueden respirar la magia cálida y feliz en el aire y les repugna, pero aun así deciden quedarse a descansar un par de días.
Y entonces su vida cambia cuando conocen a una pequeña niña de cabello rizado y anteojos verdes con una historia de vida triste y peculiar.
