Summary
A series of works exploring Pin-Lee's
friendshiprelationshipmutual administrative assistancewith Dr. Gurathin. Working together, socializing, mutual goading, all those kinds of things.Starts from their first meeting in Preservation and goes until... well, we'll see.
Title is a reference to chapter 3 of "Indelible". And it's not that kind of hopeless. No actual whump here. But never forget that the Corporation Rim is terrible.
(I am removing my note about number of works planned because the number just. Keeps. Growing!)
Timeline ranging from 6 years pre-canon until All Systems Red/Season 1 of the show for certain.

An academy AU + Tarsus aftermath fic in which James T. Kirk ends up accidentally parentally bonded to an orphaned Vulcan child. When the father/daughter duo enroll in Star Fleet, hijinks ensue (mostly at the expense of Spock’s previously immaculate but quickly deteriorating self-control).
