It is the 1920s and the Great Depression is quite a downer. You bring news, hope, and entertainment to people as they read from your newspapers. As a newspaper proprietor, you had gain some attention in New Orleans. Many of your headlines speak of the infamous, "Bayou Butcher". Your competition. BUT oh well, business is business, why not help him make huge headlines for you. The more kills, the more money your company gets from the public. How exciting.
