Summary
Creek got out of the bathroom with the most ridiculous apron tied to his waist. It was a pale shade of pink that contrasted with his purple skin, and on it was written "I kiss better than I cook”.
“What the fuck is that.”
Creek made an innocent face. “Well, if I’m being forced to cook against my will, might as well make sure I don’t get dirty, don’t you think?”
Or, Creek avoids cooking at all costs. Floyd is not allowing it. Regular roommate stuff ensues.

Summary
Lunch was a word Floyd had almost forgotten. When he returned, Floyd turned his head towards Bruce’s voice, trying to keep his excitement to himself. Bruce smiled at the group, his hands in the air as he presented a comically large serving of nachos for everyone, served by his wife. She placed it on the ground by their seats and quickly the others got up, chattering about how starving they were.
They had no idea what starving was.

Summary
This was it. The consequences of his actions rushing up to meet him like a fall to the floor.
After all that time spent trying to get Floyd back home… Creek had relented to the orders of his master, his body seemingly on autopilot as he dragged the prince back into the Dark Woods. The fear of Silos, his master, had been too much, and he couldn’t fight it off. He’d obeyed him his entire life. It was second nature.
He’d left to go back to the Dark Woods to see him, to maybe see if he could change his mind, plead with him, beg, anything. He left Floyd alone, miles away, just to try and see if maybe going back himself would help. Maybe it would give Floyd a chance at getting back to the kingdom alone.
Oh, how wrong he was…
