Summary
Archmaester Vaegon chose death as his family and dynasty were fading to fire and blood. Nearly seven decades to his life, regrets and revelations made heartaches came to a hilt as the Dance of the Dragons raged. The dying of the dragons began long before— the deaths of his siblings all piling losses that had led them to the dawn of war.
He had went his own route in life, detached and seperated from the den of a home he couldn't fit in to. He left his family name behind, but no distance nor denial could prepare him for the grief of watching the withering of his notorious, inescapable siblings as well as their legacy.
And inescapable, they were— arcanely so. When the death he chose does not consume him to darkness, and the path of light returns him to the days before he took his maester's vows, he is faced with his family again, and a chance at preventing their doom.

This story takes Legends characters and puts them into a re-worked and re-imagined Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. Princess Leia Organa is now Supreme Chancellor of the New Republic. Leia and Han Solo’s children, Jaina, Ben, and Anakin Solo have been training under Luke Skywalker, and now are all notable public figures and Jedi’s. However, after a rebel uprising by a regime named the First Order, it is up to the New Jedi Order and the Republic to fight back. Ben Solo, despite his love for his family, teeters on the edge of joining the dark side of the Force. It is up to the allies of the Republic, and the new generation of Jedi to fight back and end the rise of the dark side.
Or, in which Anakin Skywalker's grandchildren fight the growing First Order and encounter family drama, with eventually Luke/Mara having children of their own.

Happy endings are for fairy tales, the ones they make up to reassure children, much unlike the way a considerable amount of folklore ends in tragedy, a bit too much akin to what Rumi has known her whole life. Fate has another thing coming for it if that's the story it wants; she was taught to fight as soon as she could walk, and she's not about to back down now.
Or, in which the author delves into life after the events of the movie, wherein Rumi and Jinu fight for their happy ending, learning and growing together and discovering what it means to be human, together.

When presented with a chance to go back in time and safe her family, she accepts and wakes up days of Queen Rhaenyra's coronation on Dragonstone in 129. Well aware of the dangers ahead, Daena throws herself into protecting her family and trying to warn them about the Green's plans. They don't call her 'the Defiant' for nothing!
Or: Rhaenyra's granddaughter travels back in time to help Team Black and prevent the deaths of thousands, including her family and the dragons.

King Aegon III and Queen Jaehaera were married as children to end the war that tore the realm apart. Their marriage was loveless. They are both broken people. They do not talk often. When they do, they speak in cold words. The Realm is worried that the Queen will be barren. The realm needed an heir to continue the Targaryen dynasty. Their marriage was unconsummated.
The court plans to replace the Queen with one of their own daughters. The word of strain in their marriage is out at court. The ambitious lords are preparing their daughters to be chosen by the king if the annulment does happen.
Until it all came ahead, Prince Viserys advises Aegon to make royal progress through Westeros to show the Lords and Ladies that the marriage is strong. It was up to King Aegon and Queen Jaehaera to see if they could stay married during their royal progress. As royal progress happens, they both realize they have things in common and they also experience dangers outside of King's Landing.
