Summary
Darkness, as it turns out, isn’t something that’s exclusive to Villanelle. It’s inherently part of Eve too, always there, clawing at her, whispering for her to break what shouldn’t be broken, to push when she should be still. Her whole life Eve has felt displaced, longing for more, to feel whole and at peace, and it’s only now that she’s stopped denying it and has let herself embrace it, that Eve knows she can only feel that way with Villanelle.

Summary
The lamina has thinned between the angel and her prey.
The angel lately called Villanelle must Atone for a sin she cannot recall; her punishment is to act as an assassin, executing the Fallen who live among mortals in false guises. But millennia of Atonement would make anyone bored, and Villanelle has never been more jaded and poorly behaved.
A woman who has the nerve to be named Eve is about to change that.

Summary
Villanelle takes her hand and lays it flat between her breasts. The thump thumping is a little elevated to what one might normally expect. But it was there, clear as day. Eve attempts to flinch back at the sensation, like she's been burned by water, but Villanelle keeps her hand firmly in place. The thump thumping only gets stronger and Eve's willpower only gets weaker.
Villanelle looks at her keenly, with such intensity that she feels hot all over, almost unbearably so. Like the moment right before Villanelle tasted her for the first (and last) time in the camper.
"Do you believe me now?"

Or an exploration of Eve's trauma with the help of a pesky hallucination and dream wife. Or so she thinks.

Summary
Eve and Villanelle decide to pursue a relationship after Villanelle fakes her death on the Dixie Queen.
But there are too many wounds that still haven't healed.
