Summary
Coffee Talk was the only building on the block that was open at this time. Many were surprised that such a quaint place would be open when a terrible crowd tended to roam the streets. However, Eiji would be the first to say people were wrong about what kind of crowd managed to find their way into his shop. Sure, there was the occasional drunk that stumbled in, but it was nothing Eiji couldn't handle.

Eiji's face widened, as he tilted his head. "Is there something wrong? Oh no was I too presumptuous?" He looked at Shorter with a panicked look. "You said he agreed. Did you decide to back out after all?"
Ash looked at Shorter in panic. Did he actually tell the guy that he already agreed?! Shorter was grinning at him. Of course he did. The bastard, he couldn't possibly tell Eiji off now! He couldn't bear to have that hopeful look shattered.
"I--uh--I am running for office?" Ash cleared his throat. "I mean yeah I am. I'll...uhh I'll meet you there. At the podium. I mean." He internally cringed. God that sounded so awkward.
But Eiji's face lit up with his megawatt smile and Ash was so damn weak to it. Goddamnit. Damn him. Damn Ash too. Damn that smile.
Eiji clapped his hands. "That's absolutely wonderful!"

Summary
The older teen was sitting in what looked like a stadium, crowds of people behind him on the edge of their seats. Ash recognized some of the outfits, Eiji was in his gym. Holy fuck Eiji was in his gym.
Eiji was smiling at the camera but his eyes were focused on the field. The caption was something about being lucky to get a good seat. Ash found himself staring at Eiji for way too long, enough for someone to come into the waiting room and remind him that he was supposed to be outside two minutes ago. As he walked outside and was greeted to the sound of screaming fans, there was only one thing on his mind.

The most decent bounty hunter in the West, Ash Lynx, is on the hunt for a necromancer wanted for grave robbing. A simple enough job, except for two problems:
1. He has to go through the Circus, which is filled with demonic clowns who he may not be on friendly terms with (and can ya blame him? Demonic and clowns are two words that should never be combined.)

Every single day Eiji goes to the Dreamyard and waits until the sun sets, which was the signal that Ash wouldn’t go that day to see him. He feels utterly glad that he managed to make a friend, a human one, in the foreign Unova.
