Summary
Whilst out Christmas shopping, Hermione stumbles across a mysterious china Christmas tree. Convinced that her overwhelming desire to buy it is a result of her chronic tiredness and nothing more, she leaves it in the shop and walks away. But the tree calls to her, and she finds herself going back to buy it the next day.
Which is when things start getting strange.
Upon examination, the tree reveals its secret to Charlie, and he and Hermione both make the same wish upon its strangely textured star….
