Después de unos meses de llevar una relación amorosa lo mas pura posible con Stiles. Derek logra sanar sus heridas y decide reincorporarse en la sociedad reencontrándose con su familia y dándose una oportunidad como humano, vive en la casa Hale y consiguió un trabajo como auxiliar en la comisaria. Ya rehabilitado decide conquistar a su gran amor como una persona normal pero el hijo del sheriff no le hace caso, lo que Derek no sabe es que Stiles esta 100% comprometido con su hombre lobo y no le importan los regalos o el gran atractivo de Derek Hale.
