“What-? No, I don’t need help with that!” Takumi turned towards the two of them, his face already heating up again, “a-and what do you even know! I could be dating someone right now and you wouldn’t know! I wouldn’t tell you because you’re so nosy!”

Day Four of LeoKumi Week '26 - Mythology
Leo takes a moment to pause when his other half slows to a stop. The wall to his right depicts the person of setting suns. They were undressed, sitting at a pool with their feet in the water. Fins laid flat against their back, a long tail with even more fins and scales curling around them and dipping into the pond. They stared up into the tree above, where the person of rising suns sat, tailfeathers and legs dangling in the wind, wings gently resting at their hips.
The Nohrian prince resists the urge to bring his free hand to his neck, praying that the spines, ones that suddenly appeared a few months ago after Fujin Yumi and Brynhildr mixed powers and let off an explosion of light, stay flat against his own skin. This was a new shirt and cape, after he had gotten excited about something and they ripped through his old ones.

It took about two seconds for the thought to sink in. Takumi smacked his palm to his forehead to force it away, heat rushing to his face. It was then that he finally grasped the full scope of what he was doing.
Soup and books were one thing. This, whatever this was, this intense desire to help, was toeing the line into something else.
