Would they miss your absence in some sort of metaphorical way, despite knowing you're gone? Or, would they despise you for your past actions? And the people who actually care, if you were never there in their lives to begin with, how much better would they fare without you? What if you were given the chance to do that, and probably save the rest of the world while you're at it?

The HAT kids grew up with five rules etched into their bones—non-negotiable, unquestionable, and about as gentle as a brick to the face.
First: Father’s word was absolute. You didn’t argue. You didn’t hesitate. Disobeying wasn’t just forbidden—it was practically a death sentence.
Second: No talking about the family. Ever. Outsiders didn’t need to know who their other parent was, and most of the world stayed blissfully ignorant.
Third: 5.0.5 wasn’t just an older sibling—he was the best one they had… and, admittedly, the family-designated punching bag.
Fourth: Normal life? Yeah, that was never in the cards for them. Not with their lineage.
