Summary
It’s just not feasible. Phil's soldiers are outnumbered. His allies are hesitant, unhelpful. He cannot fuel the proper war that will bring them out on top, that will finally bring the bloody conquest to a close. His people will be slaughtered. His crown will be stolen. He will be another name to the growing list of fallen rulers.
But a sword raised on the battlefield is not the only way to take care of a threat. Phil knows there’s plenty of other ways to secure victory, or at the very least, push off defeat for another week longer.
The moment the conqueror’s forces come within range, Phil sends an invitation.
He invites the conqueror to lunch.
(Or, AU with king!Phil and conqueror!Techno being enemies, then friends, then family. It is a very calculated plot, until it's not.)

Summary
Starting from a young age, Phil has taken an interest in psychology. What makes the mind tick and what pushes humans to do terrible things. Cults in particular are a fascination of his, also the subject of his master thesis when he earned his degree. This leads him to the dangerous position of being asked for help by the police when they need somebody to infiltrate a cult called The Blood God’s Chosen.
Phil’s job isn’t hard. Enter the cult as a new initiate, keep his head down, and gather the needed information so police can make arrests. The entire thing should only take a few days.
Then he meets a young child the cult has denoted its sacrificial lamb and things get complicated.

So I’d appreciate it if you fucked off.” He crossed his arms, letting his bat lean against his leg as he leveled them all with a glare.
“You liked it when I was carrying you—“ Techno, like the fucking bitch he was, decided to throw onto the table. His lips pulled up into a smug smile as Tommy recoiled backwards, feeling his cheeks flush.
“Y-you’ve got it wrong! I fucking hate you, and Phil! The only reason I've stuck around this long is to grace the two of you with my company! I take it all back, neither of you are my idols and I hate you fucking bitches and I never want to see your ugly faces again—“ Tommy rambled, his voice going a couple of pitches higher against his will. Fucking puberty.
“But you said I was your favorite?” Techno innocently asked, “You never acted like this whenever I hold you while you shiver away, clinging onto me like a little baby bird.”
Or Tommy is an infamous villain who attracts the attention of the Syndicate in the apocalypse.

Summary
It's a simple life, living with vampires as a source of fresh blood. For Techno, it's practically the family trade, or as close as being trained and then sent off to be a feeder can be. He can always be certain that the coven he's serving will take care of him. Most humans don't have that, so he's grateful.
Philza and his coven are more of the same in a long line of vampires needing a blood source for injuries or illnesses. Techno is happy to provide. And if he's almost close enough to touch the fondness and love within the coven... he's grateful.

Techno has been a vampire feeder nearly his whole life. Phil reluctantly purchases his services for a short term stay. Things get better and worse, depending on the viewpoint.

Dream would kill him. Dream was going to kill him- he was going to- no, he wouldn’t. Dream was his friend- friends don’t hit each other- Dream was supposed to take care of him- Dream /was/ taking care of him.
It hurt to breathe. It hurt to think. He couldn’t clear his thoughts as he stumbled to the family computer, pulling up a tab on google and frantically typing the name into the search bar.
The words Technoblade Watson stared back at him, the little black bar at the end of the letters blinking slowly, mocking him.
