I sat up straight in bed with a gasp so sharp it hurt.
I was ripped out of sleep with a force that left me quaking in fear for half a second.
My heart was racing, adrenaline buzzing through my body and I fought the urge to scramble out of the bed. I brought my knees up, ready to kick at whatever had woken me up.
As my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I saw a figure standing barely 3 feet away just to the right of my bed. I lifted my gaze to see who it was, but they were just a black silhouette that didn't move. I could make out a head of loose short curls, broad shoulders and pale skin.
I don't know why I didn't scream.

Maybe a mischievous demon boy band will help them on their journey? Or maybe they'll just cause trouble. There is going to be lots of plot and build up, but I promise the couples will all get their moment in the spotlight!!!
