Summary
Julian didn’t get a mark on his 16th birthday, but he did begin to feel the feelings of another. Whoever this person was, whether or not the lack of mark truly meant they were not truly soulmates, Julian decided he would never pursue them. He felt their particular cruelty, and hated them for it. Since his skin did not bear their name, it wasn’t like he was truly bound to them.
