A year after Crookshanks death, the kitten distribution system has not yet bestowed Hermione with her next fuzzy friend. No longer moved to tears by thoughts of her first and only beloved cat, Hermione is ready to progress into actively looking. While on a break from work, Hermione decides to visit the local shelter in hopes of adopting a couple cute, cuddly kitten. Instead, she immediately falls in love with a kitten aaaaaaaaaaand a shaggy black Siberian with the most captivating blue eyes she's ever seen. The shelter has a few choice names they use to refer to the cantankerous beast, but Hermione chooses to stick with the name etched into the collar the cat was wearing when he was picked up — Toshka.

Summary
Two years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Antonin Dolohov is one of the last Death Eaters standing. When Harry Potter and Ron Weasley finally corner him in the Welsh rain, they expect a duel, a confession, or a fight to the death.
