Summary
If her team saw her now, she’d never live it down. But this wasn’t about pride—it was about necessity.
Solas stopped abruptly, turning to face her. His sharp, piercing gaze caught hers, and for a moment, Rook hesitated. Her breath faltered under the weight of his scrutiny. Slowly, she dropped her eyes to the ground and released her grip on his cloak.
“I swear fealty to you,” she said. “I will be your blade, if you’ll allow it. I know I’ve kept things from you—my story, even my name—but I swear that whatever knowledge I have, it could aid your cause. This I swear.”
She raised her eyes to meet his again, and to her surprise, Solas’s composure cracked. His mouth fell slightly ajar, and he stared at her as if she had just done something unfathomable.
Without waiting for a response, Rook drew her blade from its sheath.
“What are you—” Solas began, but the words faltered as she sliced the edge of the blade across her palm. A sharp hiss escaped her lips as blood seeped over her skin.

Summary
Never has a ritual gone so wrong, so sideways, that the consequences have been this... horrid. Well, maybe minus creating the veil, that is. Solas is trapped in the Lighthouse through a strange magical phenomenon, stripped of his magic and unable to even touch the Eluvians. Rendered like a ghost to haunt his home, watching this buffoon go up against the Evanuris? Solas HAS GOT to make a better plan! This can not be the way things end! If only he wasn't also stuck in the Lighthouse with the fiery, testy Andora, Rook's sister. She's fluent in elven, wicked clever, versed in Orlesian Court politics, and worst of all, she's good at the game of claws. For every cut he digs into her ego, she stabs back even harder. It's earned her the nickname little fox, as she's up to some mischief of her own. From trying to claw his eyes out to raising his blood pressure, she sure does get under his skin. Not that he doesn't like it- infact, he's rather fond of it. But he can't loose focus. Can Solas truly mold this gaggle of fools into the tools needed to save Thedas? Or will he be stuck watching from the fade as the woman he wants and the world he wished to save go up in flames? Can he defeat his greatest foe... his damned pride.

Summary
Appetence: defined as an attraction, a natural affinity, or an instinctive desire. In other words, it's a cosmic sort of bond that clouds the mind until all thought is consumed by that singular point of infatuation.
When Voldemort divines what Harrie Potter truly means to him in the graveyard, a festering obsession begins. His horcrux. A part of his wayward soul, crafted from his marrow, magic, and might— his very own damning appetence.
He knows what has been kept from him, what rightfully belongs at his side, and now?
Well.
Now, he wants her back.
