    Sonic raised an eyebrow, his expression shifting to one of mock offense. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

    Shadow smirked, his crimson eyes narrowing with a glint of playful mischief. “It means,” he said, voice low and deliberate, “I’m making my claim now.”
