"Oh... God." Ben swallowed. He was barely fourteen - he knew this was way above his paygrade, but Abaddon looked so... small. And confused and helpless, standing hunched in the corner. Something in Ben's heart twisted, like a knife plunged deep inside of him, too deep to ever retrieve.
"Abaddon, I'm not going to kill myself!"
Abaddon blinked and looked up at him, his eyes sunken and wide at the same time. "You aren't?"

After a rough week at school, Ben is having a lazy weekend. At least he would be, if Abaddon would get the hell out of his room.AKA Ben realises his demon brother may be a tiny bit traumatised.

"Nathan..." Katherine said quietly, her voice soft and terrified. Nathan had gone too quiet for her liking. She knew he struggled with depression, but she had no idea as far as the suicidal ideation went. He had kept that entirely to himself. Nathan took in a wheezing breath before he dared to open his mouth, his fist balling into the chest of his sweater as he answered.
"C-Can you just... come over?" He asked quietly, his voice barely above a feeble whine. Katherine heard him loud and clear. She was grabbing her purse and keys within milliseconds and throwing herself out of her front door.
Nathan called Katherine before attempting to commit suicide.
