Summary
The reporter almost crashed into him, mic rustling unpleasantly on the live broadcast. “Huh? So the breakup didn't influence you? Maybe a new flame, then? Trouble in paradise?”
Kaiser turned. Slowly. Deliberately. He bent down until his lips hovered right above the mic - the correct way, not the typical yards-away disdain fans were used to.
“There is no breakup.”
Ness pulled away, and Kaiser didn’t pull back. Leashes weren’t meant to strangle, but this one slipped right off.

Summary
Aerion snapped at a passing servant for walking too slowly, his voice sharp, his words cruel by habit more than intent but even as they left his mouth, his eyes flicked instinctively toward Dunk.
He didn’t understand why, only that some part of him waited for Dunk to scold him, to grab his arm, to tell him he was wrong. Anything at all!

Summary
After everything was said and done, Valarr found himself riding his horse well behind the rest of the royal party.
He didn't mind having to go slower than he was used to when he traveled only with his servants and retinue, he only minded that he was constantly having to see ser Duncan straggling behind and pretending he was embarrassed to be there at all. Valarr had not been happy, obviously, to see the man joining them on the road, least of all that his uncle had invited him to accompany them to see Aegon to the official funeral in King's Landing.
It was enough that his father had died so shamefully, it was enough that Valarr had to see the man responsible day in and day out.
