“They tickled me! Okay?” Ness exploded outward, “Sach and Gesner cornered me after practice and took me back to one of their dorms-"
“And then they tickled you?” Kaiser couldn’t help but laugh. It bubbled up from his throat and out as a burst of giggling. It was so bright and sharp that it cut right through Ness’ teary rambling.
“YES! And it was so awful and they wouldn't stop–!”

Summary
These are the nuances of love that no one talks about. No one pays attention to pain when pleasure overwhelms it, and when one realizes the damage it brings, they also realize that the train that snatches the soul from other suffering, has already left. Ness had realized too late that his ticket was no longer usable – he missed his chance. Yet, a part of him knew that even if he had it, Ness would not have caught it: Kaiser was so inside his soul that without him Ness would no longer have a reason to breathe.
Or, two lovers lost in the night trying to find each other again.

“Alex,” Michael says. His voice is quiet. He looks down, but he can’t see Alexis like this. The moon doesn’t shine. Everything’s drenched in darkness. “I fucking hate all these lies. I want to hear you say it. Now. Here.” His left hand hangs by his side, cold and hot at the same time, and he withstands the urge to ball it into a fist.
Alexis’ breath is the only thing visible in the half-light. It comes out in small puffs of foggy air.
Alexis’ behavior has been bizarre for weeks now. Michael thinks that there's only one possible explanation: He’s about to end things with Michael. But if there’s a possible explanation, that always means there’s an impossible explanation as well.

Ness could let it slide, but not Alexis. “Please don’t overdo it.” There was a firm gentleness in his voice that made Kaiser visibly flinched.
“What time is it?”
He lets out a sigh. “Ten forty.”
A short silence before a reply, “fine.”
It was good to see that Kaiser can still cooperate. He almost thought he lost him from his obsession with Yoichi. Ness prepared his sleepwear and accompanied Kaiser to his bedroom.
He smiled before the door closed. “Have a good night.”
There were no reply and Ness goes back to his lonely bedroom.
He hates the stage, he hates Blue Lock so much. They shouldn’t have come here.

The closer he got to his locker the louder the voices sounded. Kaiser was quick to pick up Ness’ laugh. He couldn’t tell why it made him angry, of course he could assume that it was because that laugh was supposed to be for him and him alone.
