Summary
Aventurine is an escort hired by Ratio for a single undercover assignment. But when Ratio's enemies mistake their fabricated connection for genuine weakness, what was meant to be one night spirals into cohabitation. Trapped under the same roof, their carefully maintained boundaries begin to crack, and the line between performance and reality becomes dangerously blurred.

"You're nervous," Aventurine observed quietly.
"I'm not—"
"Your left hand. You keep clenching and unclenching it. It's a tell." Aventurine reached over without looking, his fingers brushing Ratio's wrist. His touch was light, impersonal, gone almost before Ratio registered the touch. "Relax, Doctor. This is the easy part. All you have to do is stand there looking intelligent and vaguely possessive. I'll handle the rest."
"That's what concerns me."
"Ah." Aventurine's smile was sharp. "Worried I'll enjoy it? Worried the Senator will be too easy to manipulate? Or worried that you hired exactly the kind of person you claim to despise for doing exactly the kind of thing you need done?" He tilted his head. "It's okay to be hypocritical, Doctor. We all are, eventually. The trick is learning to live with it."

Summary
"I'm still a businessman at heart, though, you have to understand," Sampo says, purposefully casual as he examines the nail polish on his fingers, "Information isn't free."
Gepard grumbles to himself and crosses his arms, "How much?"
"Well.." Sampo drags, and Gepard just knows he's actually been thinking about it from the start, "There's this fancy theatre up in the city. I bet you know it easy; the Golden Mask."
"I do.." Gepard agrees cautiously, "What about it?"
"I love the theatre, but they're pretty strict about giving you entrance up there. Noble families only, apparently," Sampo pouts, grumbling to himself, "Have you been?"
Gepard feels a little sheepish when he says, "As a kid, yeah."
"Good," Sampo nods, "Then I want you to get me in. You can bring a couple guests, so make me a plus one."

Gepard is given a new job in the underworld after feeling a little out of place without Fragmentum Monsters to fight. Sampo is a regretfully useful informant to him, and he apparently just wants to go to the theatre in exchange.
To Gepard's dismay, their suprisingly easy friendship is making his life a lot more enjoyable than war ever did.
